Autumn feels like an early winter so far, maybe because there has been such a contrast between now and the baking hot summer we’ve just experienced. The sudden drop in temperature has made for a chilly start to the day, despite the weather's unpredictability, I do love my morning dog walk. After a crisp, chilly and occasionally wet outing there's nothing nicer than cradling my hands around a lovely warming hot chocolate. Snuggling up in the evening under a warm throw I’m wondering if it is too soon to have my first mulled wine of the year, after all, it's not just for Christmas!

With the changing of the season my thoughts are turning to family gatherings, these dimpled cylinders are perfect for all occasions and make thoughtful and unique gifts.

Finished with a glossy transparent glaze overlaid with a chestnut and then tenmoku glazes, the firing process creates a different effect each time. These dimpled cylinders are perfect for all seasons and are wheel thrown, fired and glazed in my small home studio.

Each tumbler although similar in size is unique due to the making process so the items you receive may not be the ones pictured, if you buy more than one pair the glaze may be slightly different. If you'd like pictures of the exact items available please contact me.
